  1. I only dabble, I dont collect them much, but I do like this one allot... Ok, sussed it, the Greensleeves is the UK issue of the Jah Guidance LP, with the Scientist - Plague of Zombies' as the flip... if anybody has a nice condition one pls do get in touch.. malcolm
  2. Seen this on a Jah Guidance LP on VP records, which is a JA record, and the Greensleeves in the You tube clip below, but did it get a 45 release anywhere? Sampled for 'Scientist - Plague of Zombies' which is very nice dub track, and again by Dick Whittington from Birmingham on his Rockers Hi-Fi - Push Push release in the 9ts, which is where I first heard Johnny's voice... love em all but I'd like Johnny Osbourne on a 45 if I can get it... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1I6GE8jbbo0 Malcolm
  3. amazing inst it, it was a tenner record for years and years... probably cheaper than that in the 7ts? Mal
  4. Was going to say the same on clay hunt, what a track, and for 30 quid too... The flip however, remember Dave Flynn mentioning it, played it at home and honestly, it's horrible.... But there you go, that's northern soul isn't it, some stuff just may not be your bag!!! The Fiestas is a nice 7ts track, lesser know as well.., M
  5. First heard this on the soul supply LP ' under the street lamp' I think for allot of folk just it's inclusion on there was enough to want to get it, was with me....I loved the obscure sounding labels on the listing side.... Great Lp's Strange though, I bought the LP back then and then set about getting all the 45s on it again... That's kinda stupid really.,..laughs.., Not my favourite on that LP, but just can't bring my self to part with it... Mal
  6. I had allot of compatibility problems with your word Doc, looks like an old version of word, suggest folk select all, copy and paste into a plain text Doc, or new word page using the version you have installed.. m

  20. He certainly has, thing with Phil Collins, I think he was pretty hip kid in the sixties, and his favorite band according to a TV programme I saw was 'The Action', who did my favorite version of 'Since I Lost my baby' sorry Temps... as for Englebert..... words fail me.... M
  21. Be honest I dont buy from over seas sellers any more unless I really want it, Aussie stuff seems to come straight through no problem so I always pick stuff up via eBay and other.. It seems to be the USA packets that get all the attention. Mix that with exchange rate charges, and any other associated it simply isn't worth dealing with allot of folks over seas.. which is a damn shame.
  22. thats interesting, well royal mail charge £8, something like £4 profit for them, rest goes to the government of course, so its a good business for Ebay to get into, they have a min charge rate which the Royal mail have proven, the skies the limit... even if they pay onto a carrier £2 say, thats £2 to them (Ebay) for every package.. Malcolm
  23. ahh you gotta be joking, if it falls through pal, I'll bite your arm off for this.. malcolm
  24. I've never seen one, but my 'I Haven't got Anything Better to do' is vinyl.. You might like this John.. also got a very nice Aussie demo 'Funny How We Change Places' pretty rare 45 on Australian.. this could turn into a Dee Dee Warwick fest!! Malcolm
