Northern soul film question
As far as I am aware the unreleased Motown Rod Shard sourced from Robb Klein (Robb K on here) was first played at one of the SASofGB events in Manchester by Dave Withers in late 81 (October?). Richard said he played TLSH late Wigan after getting an acetate?

Current Bootleg Trading (split from Soul Pack thread)
I was thinking that myself because the wording for the arranger, producer and music publishing look in the right place whereas the ones shown when this kicked off ran off the label and the chain was also broken.

If it is monarch pressed it will have MR in a circle followed by the Delta symbol and number. The delta Numbering system was not exclusive to Monarch.

rip off postage charges
The card pre cut costs just a few quid, I get them via soundswholesale on ebay. I will be using the E/2 padded envelopes next time I buy. I simply don't trust the card mailers, especially abroad.
-
rip off postage charges
I know card envelope mailers are standard but they really aren't the best at absorbing shock and giving maximum protection. Post office small print only really covers you if the record is in a jiffy type bag.

rip off postage charges
Postage from the US increased a couple of months ago. I would question why a 45 was $22 though.

rip off postage charges
I charge £2.50 for first class recorded, actula postage cost is about £2.37. I round it up to cover a new mailer, card stiffners and labels etc. £1.50 for first class and £7.50 recorded. If it is over £15 it goes recorded and ober £40 special delivery as you are not covered for the cost if anything goes wrong. i ask for F&F if they know and trust me but there is no pressure to pay that way. I wouldn't pay F&F if somewhere not sure about or I don't know the buyer/seller's reputation.

On Top Of The World - The Stafford All-Nighters Podcasts
All 61 mixes that cover the Stafford Story so far have been added to mixcloud. I can now record a few new ones as still a fair few tracks not yet covered.

Who were The Delights Orchestra?
It would appear they formed the nucleus of MFSB a few years later.

Who is "Harvey"
It's a New Orleans label if I remember rightly and it isn't Harvey Fuqua. It is Harvey Jesus I believe. Google will throw his name up.

Larry Allen - Can't We Talk it Over (Green Dolphin)
Wasn't Nev Wherry responsible for it round that way?
