Trouble is many expensive records aren't rare just tucked away in collections, many no rarer than many of today's cheap records. Many of today's indemand expensive records were around in quantity in the 80's and when these hit the market when those who returned bought big the market for them will be on it's arse.

The fact someone was prepared to pay so much for a boot. Not having a dig at your mate, he described it as a UK reissue,aka boot, no presumption about it. I still don't like the word reissue as it can still be misleading if you aren't in the know. Non original would be better seeing as bootleg isn't allowed.

Sold quite a bit of cheap stuff lately. Some remained unsold. Some went from lists that were few months old and the records found when the buyer did a search and came across my old lists. Nighters are a waste of time or fast becoming that way for buying or rather selling. Most do their buying from their arm chair these days.

Everyone has endorsed what Tony says...that is what this is about and of course Keb, as many long time friends were very worried and still are about him, especially the threat from the local mayor. I can remember it going through for about £800 as well, been at least two copies on ebay.

I presume Artisan have or had records of the work they undertook.

There are definitely (I think) two gold professionals, one was around before Robin found his copy in the States as far as I know. Read the topic in the link I posted. Not sure where the second is though.

I doubt it ever existed in the first place? Mace bought his copy from Nancy who advertised it on here and other sites. I would say there are at least half a dozen. Who had yours JT?

Thought Ady said the advance showing was for industry types? Not the public, maybe why nothing was said. There is no news on here, the films own website nor FB. I would imagine it is just as frustrating for Elaine and everyone else involved not having the film in cinemas yet.

It is probably a case of no news until there is something to tell. I would imagine as soon as distibution is sorted we will all know about it.
