  4. Can you edit your swearing please Nick, you are not exempt and it does affect others, especially those at work with firewall filters in place.
  5. think every era has had it's fair share of fashion disasters
  6. I think if you stopped the music Rob they would carry one throwing themselves about as it is obvious they are never dancing to what is being currently played. I love watching the acrobats but it has to be in time to the breaks etc, spin where you are meant to spin.
  7. She's good, totally lost in the music and an an emphasis on footwork, not showing off throwing yourself about totally "NOT" in rhythm to the music. Said it before I watch many of these doing acrobatics and wonder what they are dancing to.
  8. Hi Mark, your three biggest costs will be the pitch, kit and you will need to look into insurance as well. With them being Juniors your coach/manger will probably have to have a CRB check as well, I know all referees have to have one now. It might be worth asking you local FA regarding this or any other questions and they may have some grants going as well. It might be worth asking a pub or club, I know they are under 17 but the pub might have a room you can use, or corner of a bar and if the landlord is going to get 30 players plus family back he might chip in with sponsorship and food etc after the game. Good luck.
  9. Isn't there a Detroit press as well? NY, West Coast and Detroit? Back to Dave's question if you are new to the collecting game you simply don't know an original first press from a second issue, a bootleg from a counterfeit. It all comes with experience and being around records, asking questions. What seem lame questions to the likes of us are not lame to new comers to collecting. Thats one reason I try and encourage any question no matter how trivial and don't like anyone putting newcomers off asking questions.
  10. I'd call it a boot unless someone can tell me different.
  11. According to this biog of the Sensations John Washington went truck driving after the label shut...... https://www.answers.c...he-sensations-2
  12. Thanks John. maybe do the next one as an across the board what you've just bought or recent listening type swap, I'll deffo join in that one. The length of time I've spent in the shops this weekend I could have done a cd
  13. I remember Andy getting this and listening when I went round the his. I like both sides, both interesting but doubt it would go down in the "great" northern category. Wasn't John Washinton the co-writer of other Way Out material, Jesse Fisher?
  14. Excellent work Dave Invaluable site for reference and simply reading. Dunno how you find the time, I can't find any for mine
  15. I'm waiting for part two as well.

The seen is missing a ready made venue like Sheriden's where three or four clubs can come together and off something different every week like it was then. Somewhere we can call it "ours" once more.
  17. I'll give this one a miss Pat, I don't treacly have time to go through records etc and sort deep/sweet/group. If it was anything goes across the board could have managed that one. Maybe next time.
  18. £78....what are they on? That must be one of those daft wish I hadn't bid when p*ssed moments surely?
  19. What is the criteria? and how long do you have to burn and post, not done one of these swaps for couple of years or so. Plus I am often away from home most of the week
  20. If I remember rightly Rob Marriott used to spin it.
  21. Nice one Steve. Is the mag downloadable? I've looked but can't see any link, either buy or read online by the looks of it.
  22. Just downloaded and will listen next week whilst driving, I've a three hour drive to Bury St Edmunds so this will do nicely.
  23. I've an issue but the one credited to Jay and the Shufflers. Always Be Mine Label states CR-1823. Scratched in the run out is CR-1824 X When The Lights Are Low label states CR-1824 Scratched in the run out is CR - 1823 just before the CR is a very faint 45. I've got to listen to both upstairs tomorrow to compare.
  24. I play it now and again, fabulous double sider.
