JERRYO - KARATE-BOO-GA-LOO - Matrix Error
The first DEMO had The Pearl & Karate-Boo-Ga-Loo reversed as the matrix was wrong. So as you say it would be quite annoying if trying to promote Karate-Boo-Ga-Loo and it played The Pearl. Looks like it was noticed after the first run and changed but some leaked out, hence my copy. I've always wanted the DEMO then I ended up buying a second copy when I noticed the Matrix had been changed in the Deadwax.

JERRYO - KARATE-BOO-GA-LOO - Matrix Error
Yes, it's always been a favourite of mine. Not sure if this affected it's airplay at the time. So pleased they got it right in the end and we were able to hear it in the UK. One of the first records I bought as a Stock Copy on London.

JERRYO - KARATE-BOO-GA-LOO - Matrix Error
I have been filling in a few gaps in the collection recently. I knew that there had been a mix-up with the Matrix. Only just discovered that they made two DEMOs. The first plays the wrong sides as the Stamped Matrix is wrong. The second plays the correct sides and the Stamped Matrix has been altered.

Seem to recall one was auctioned a few years ago with the label logo to the right. It is a few years ago but described as extremely rare if memory serves. Plus there's this one on Popsike. This copy on Popsike does have copied labels stuck on to a Re-Issue, but the copied labels may be from the Auctioned copy that I remember. There's also your copy with writing on Popsike www.popsike.com It is a different run at the printers as the Label Credits are in a different place plus it has the Large font. I suspect it's an error at the pressing plant and very few copies about.- Jerry-O Popcorn Boogaloo On Boo-Ga-Loo Records
Never seen any DEMOs, White or any other type. However, once you've heard the beat it's hard to sit still. No wonder SHOUT Records picked up the rights to release a few titles, and in the case of "Karate-Boo-Ga-Loo" a pleasure to hear courtesy of UK London back in my youth. Interesting that the titles are linked by a "-"- Billy Butler - Sad News RIP
