Yes 1979. I was there and my 1st Wigan nighter was the week after the anniversary in "78. Never seen the Casino so packed it took ages to get in. I remember she did "One Way Out" accapella as the band didn"t know the song. Oh and the Vandellas were one girl & one guy ! Cheers Paul

Mr Pickett did not perform at the Casino However after reading Mr Pitts Afropean book (highly recommended ) I can forgive him this faux pas.
