In my opinion (talking soul nights here, not nighters) Once a night! Like everyone says, there's loads to go at! In a one-roomer with the right DJ's (who should be there most of the night anyway) they know what's been played and can simply play summat else! Well this is the philosophy at The Orwell anyway! Although we often play unknowns/semi-knowns/things we're trying to break etc early doors and if they get the nod, they may get played later on! Only time it gets a problem for us is when we have two rooms and a DJ's play both rooms. Cos they're not omnipotent they cannot know what happens for the length of time they're in t'other room! I do like the idea of DJ's jotting down their set for this reason PLUS it's then easy to post playlists up on Soul Source after the event Cheers Steve
