What a little gem. Both the programme and Little Anthony . Take my hat off to his mentor as well, lovely relationship they had built. Love the scene in the shop where his care-worker had found a postcard with the meaning of the name Anthony and is reading it to him , while Anthony looks like he’s dropped a handful of bombers and is taking no notice , he just wants to dance . Long may Little Anthony rule, and hope those new shoes see many a floor over the years to come. Well done everyone who helped make that lovely short film .

I always asked if I could have my other half back .. even if it was put aside and given back later on .. only worked once .

Just to add on from this . My package of 6 x 45’s got delivered here yesterday. All find and no extra duty. Not really any longer than normal but just as with all parcels delivered, make sure to wipe down all packaging and wash your hands after .

Daved , Not sure where you bought your Jill Scott tickets from, as mine where £47 for the Friday .. from Ticketmaster .. never buy from secondary sites like Seatwave, StubHub and viagogo ... all of them are a rip off , so stay away !! Stanley Clarke - Cameo - Soul ll Soul added to the Saturday at Innervisions . with more to come . Also camping at LoveSupreme again this year . Always a great little festival with some great acts and The Roots playing this year. Friday night DJ spot in the tent is always a great Soul night.

First time over here for 12 years and I saw that gig at the 02 indigo and remember it like it was yesterday. He may well be 73 but this man won’t disappoint. Bought my tickets today and with seeing Jill Scott the night before at the Indigo it proves to be a very soulful weekend. It may just be your last chance to get see him. “ Joy and Pain “

Went to see Norman Connors - with Lonnie Liston Smith and should have been Ronnie Laws at the Indigo on Friday night - very poor ... although the Starship Orchestra where good and Lonnie held his own .. all getting old I guess . There was a guy there I nearly decked as he kept tokin on a Vape right in front of us .. and never stopped talking all the way through the gig ..

Got this from 1974 .. and remember it didn’t get off the ground .. they did do the Champagne all dayer though .. Chis was trying out loads of ideas back in the day ...
