Doing a gig in Portugal ,not so local, Aflight with Ryan air and 500 plus singles and LPs, or drive in my guzzling 4by4 800 Miles round trip? Iknow the punters at the portugese gig would not know or care if vinyl is used . All of the other DJs travel from UK with enough discs for a one hour spot,because of Logistics of transporting those heavy awkward bits of ancient plastic across the globe {What after Brexit}.

The " Show tunes " discs to me appear genuine ; They come from the era of the single LP "sing Rogers and Hart 67/68 ,originally intended as a double Lp .these show tunes would have been submitted to BG for selection,but he shelved them ,adouble came out in 2002 [Legal motown Issue]with these missing tracks . Knowing "Personal " interest in one Supreme, these discs would be of great interest too Motown Collectors ,finally the Dealers other discs are Kosher and clearly described, Are we not in danger of entering the realms of "Witch finder Generals" in our OVO passions??

If the term Northern Soul ceased to exist , shock horror ! What about my; Patches , Stickers ,T shirts,Key ring ,Wall clock,Watch, Personalised No plate,N5 OUL, and finally my NS Buttock Tattoo! A lot of people would like to remove themselves from the title Northern Soul and percieved baggage, and re -christen it ,,Rare soul .
