Spanish hit pronounced Can A Ree Os {in Spain you accentuate the vowel sounds!}.To cap it all the group came from Gran Canary Island ,named after the giant dogs not Birdies! Also the perrenial Isleys and Elgins ? Is it Eyes Lee Bros, Iss,? or El Jins, and finally ZZ Hill and ZZ and Company do Yorkshire DJs introduce ,"Make Me Yours" and "Getting Ready For The Get Down " as Zed Zed.? What a thoroughly Sensible Thread?

Tracks include ,Brenda " Can,t hold The Feeling Back" ,"Ordinary Joe ", Sweet Thing " Georgie , Plus all the Tops ; Lollipops ,Odyssey,,Reubens,,E:V:D,s,Bro Isleys, you could ever Wish for and final Killer ,Dusties ,"Long After " ,from her 65 LP only . And the cost of this 5 CD Extravaganza, Five Pounds from Morrisons Gibraltar ,works out at 20.2 pence a Track ,, Fantastico !! LOL Johnny.

    Have you noticed the great differential in Price for UK ,Demo against Issue ? Adorable JM ,firmly on the side of the Big AA,s,while Tim brown seems to support the issue ,stating that companies where much more profligate with Demos hence Stock copies are Rarer? What do you think , and Why?

    Hi adydj, Its me again ,with apologies, "Then " by the 4 Tops {no Supremes no temptations} is in fact on a French EP ,TMEF 545, 18 '11'1967. and its absolutely Brilliant !, How do i Know ' ? I have it in my attic ! The portugese EP is the only Issue of the Supes & Tempts,but 4Tops is the First recording ,and better. If you are sorted or not ,give me a shout i have 2 copies of 4Tops Version EP , on 45 .rpm. Very Best Regards ,John ,Malaga ,Spain.

    Casino DJ,autographs; Massive misconception that any celeb signatures are valuable! Marvin gaye ,Beyonce around 300$ and chuck jackson can be had for 40 $! How this seller can expect such an amount from autographs of still avilable people ,´{the late Kenny spence was a very minor player in Mr M,s} ?????? But lest we forget the adorable john Manship is currently getting three figures for Mecca posters from that same Golden era ,so perhaps there is One born every minute {remember the Eiffel Tower, a Soussan lable also,, has been sold many times ! } Truth is stranger than fiction!

    Baby Boys OVO Logistics Argument: As a massive motown collector and regular Local Dj ,Iuse USb Stick /laptop in Spain . Doing a gig in Portugal ,not so local, Aflight with Ryan air and 500 plus singles and LPs, or drive in my guzzling 4by4 800 Miles round trip? Iknow the punters at the portugese gig would not know or care if vinyl is used . All of the other DJs travel from UK with enough discs for a one hour spot,because of Logistics of transporting those heavy awkward bits of ancient plastic across the globe {What after Brexit}.

    The " Show tunes " discs to me appear genuine ; They come from the era of the single LP "sing Rogers and Hart 67/68 ,originally intended as a double Lp .these show tunes would have been submitted to BG for selection,but he shelved them ,adouble came out in 2002 [Legal motown Issue]with these missing tracks . Knowing "Personal " interest in one Supreme, these discs would be of great interest too Motown Collectors ,finally the Dealers other discs are Kosher and clearly described, Are we not in danger of entering the realms of "Witch finder Generals" in our OVO passions??

    If the term Northern Soul ceased to exist , shock horror ! What about my; Patches , Stickers ,T shirts,Key ring ,Wall clock,Watch, Personalised No plate,N5 OUL, and finally my NS Buttock Tattoo! A lot of people would like to remove themselves from the title Northern Soul and percieved baggage, and re -christen it ,,Rare soul . Soul Essence etc. But N.S. still in 2018 works as a generic term for the original multi cultural, multi nationality and musically diverse scene!

    Mr J. White is a serious collector, with a famous collection! A recent purchase in 2015 was an Elvis acetate of , " My Happiness" his first release, Jackie released a copy with cracks and pops in a brown sleeve ,the disc is valued at 300, 000 dollars! Would guess he will do the same with Sergeant Wilson's. ? Highest price 45 is still estmated at £25,000 UK. So he must have paid upwards of that if seller Denise is correct in her assumption.? Good to know its gone to a fellow collector! Hope our adorable Pete Smith got a drink out of it?
