  1. John sets the standard in a business in which other auctions such as those of Tim and Pat, are called into question. I bid once on JM's auction. I won it with just the one bid of £400 for Sam Ward some years ago. I got an email notification I'd won. So first available opportunity I phoned to sort out payment. I was told record was lost or misplaced. Took a few, often irate, phone calls to sort out and after a week it turned up and I was able to pay. Though it ended well for me I was not impressed and didn't bother again. ROD
  2. Don, If you get orders that aren't honoured and they don't get in touch to retract offer then leave a negative. Why you should be apologising for asking for prompt payment due to behaviour of a few is beyond me. Let us all know who they are. They may be wasting others' time too. ROD [Forum Moderator]
  3. Always thought they looked cheap and tacky. Labels tend to peel and wear. Prefer the original DJ copies myself. Now there are things of beauty to behold. ROD
  4. She was moonlighting from her regular job. You get the coats - I'll get the scarves and gloves. ROD
  5. My son's partner did this. A tear across right wing. Looks OK to me Well, now small tear.
  6. I think it's original too. But still waiting to see the L1014 and RB123s copy. ROD
  7. Had a look at JM 5. In his pics there are 2 with LEGEND in red. One of these has ZTSC matrix according to his notes. Other is orig. However in notes it states RB132s and L1014A in deadwax for original. So either he is wrong or there is another red Legend which Ian and Scal have without RB that is also a boot ? ROD
  8. Yes I know Ian. Obv interested cos as you know I offered you Scal's copy and that doesn't have rbs either. I'm still no wiser. Somebody on here may have this format ? ROD
  9. What's the RBS JM refers to.
  10. I collect the label ROD
  11. You can't delete. You start an ad. It stays. Why delete. Auction isn't over. ROD
  12. Please keep to the one thread. Merged latest update. ROD [Forum Moderator]
  13. Had a look at this. I've removed some comments from Sean that I feel are descending into unwarranted rancour. Better to stick to the facts. I looked at the fb on Discogs and there are a couple of neutrals and negatives referring to items received in a lesser condition than described. And as Pete points out there's also the possibility of damage on opening. As there is a claim through Pay Pal I think I will close this unless anyone has anything pertinent to add. Thank you ROD [Forum Moderator]
  14. Sean, always use recorded unless you know them or had previous dealings. ROD
  15. Whitfield/Moy and C.Grant. Album tracks by G.Knight, Temps and C.Jackson. ROD
  16. I hope not. I draw the line at Spencer's tartan bondage bags. ROD
  17. Dish is a slight overall warp so 45 isn't perfectly flat. A chip is at the edge where a small piece of vinyl is missing. ROD
  18. I can't believe there's someone on here more clueless than me when it comes to the internet but yes. Put the post into EDIT. Copied it all and then where it says FONT on top left clicked and then clicked ARIAL when dropdown menu appeared. I thought I was helping as some members [albeit blind] were complaining. OK wife says I am somewhat OCD at times. Doesn't everybody eat their food alphabetically ? ROD [oh and Forum moderator which is why I helped out]

  20. I could read it but hopefully you all can do now. ROD
  21. All 45s are US originals unless stated. All are VG++ to M- unless stated. VG+ is still a nice 45. Graded under strong lights. And of course happy to refund where buyer unhappy.
