  2. was it booted on jerhart? i just thought it was common with several label variations and sold very well stateside, which is probably why it came out on president over here as its a contemporary release. I also think its the first label but not sure if impression is b4 mica or vice versa. dave
  3. in the 90s i saw about 2 dozen copies of ree flores for sale snapping one up myself. but i never saw a copy of little willie faulk. i only knew that by the likes of ted massey playing it. JM says its ten years since he had a copy of RF. but in 2002 john gave me £400 for it which was a good price and i only sold it because i thought it will never go any higher in a million years . obviously he sold it quickly for a profit dave

    the original is styrene and bell sound stamped and the just sunshine logo is coloured in a gold/yellow the re issue is also bell sound stamped but on vinyl and the logo is the same colour as the rest of the label i think these were done when the record went big in the 70s. i think they are legit but pressed up to meet demand . anybody know any different? dave
  5. thats so true bob.As our bri says it made no 47 on the rnb charts where as his other 45s around that time never charted at all. its a strange one alright dave

  7. john had a few copies a couple of years ago at 15 quid and they flew out. i reacon it may be nearer 50 these days. dont know what it is in the new guide as i wont be getting that til xmas. might be cheaper on the bay dave

  12. ive been pondering this as well and if ive seen a yellow one its that long ago i cant remember it come to think of it most of her 77 output are only multi. apart from YBILTL. thats her 1st on the label dave
  13. original has lucky my boy on the flip with a star stamp on it. The boot was only done about 5 years ago when it went absolutely massive although its had plays as far back as i can remember.think the boot has another northern biggie on the b side dave

    dealer might have it for a 3 figure sum. i paid 40 quid for it in the mid 90s then sold it on a few years later. then a couple of years ago our brian found one in holland of all places for 6 euros...... marvellous . ebay is your best bet but its dropping on one dave

  20. the uk copy misses out the long instrumental bit in the middle of just dont pay making it better IMVHO i dont wanna leave you is edited as well . better to own on uk as far as im concerned. as for clarity ive had both but never noticed much difference dave

  22. the only time i seem to here this these days is when ron pedley comes out of retirement. very rare and under 500pounds simply coz they are white dave
