Secret/hidden Tracks On Cds
The Eddie Hinton Dear Y’all CD has a secret track at the end. There’s just under 2 mins of him being interviewed and was asked about his work and what he was most proud of and how he was a fan Mavis Staples.

Returning Over Graded 45's To The Usa
Unless its marked M-, irrespective of where the seller is located I now always ask, if there are any pops, crackles or marks that affect playback quality of the record. That way hopefully they're answer honestly and for me in most cases that's been the case.

Too Many Venues
Are there any Parkers you would travel to hear Steve or do you just hate the surname?

The west coast demo's of Oliver Bush look like issues except for the silver text "Promotional Copy"

Too Many Venues
That’s what I've been noticing more and more when reading playlists posted here and on facebook. People are singing the praises of OVO sets that contain very expensive records and I have nothing against people owning and playing expensive records. But they do seem to be the same ones played over and over again.

Soft Tone Needles
Andy Davies (Andyd on here and old Soul Bowl employee), plays percussion in the group

What Are You Spinning At Home ?
Was defiantly a retrospective release, as there were quite a few miffed people (including me) who’d been playing it from the LP as at the time the LP was in-demand and quite tough to find. Also, UK Portrait changed from a grey to a black label in the early 80s. Sly and the Family Stone’s Family Affair/Dance To the Music and Barbara Dickson’s Caravan Song originally UK Epic releases also got re-released on black portrait as well around the same time.

What Are You Spinning At Home ?
That was reissued in the mid 80's on both a 7" and 12" after it was being played by the likes of Norman Jay. Is the 7" an edit or is it the same length as the original LP version?

Best Compilation Lp/cd Ever ?
It was a fine example of how much quality was released on major labels

Paypal And Family And Friends
With financial regulators clamping down more and more on the back of money laundering concerns, financial institutions are performing a significant amount of data mining on their accounts. The highlighting of large volumes of F/F payments on paypal accounts is probably a by-product of that process, so I wouldn’t be surprised if more people get a mail.

Artist Named On Usps Parcel
A while back I recieved a package and on the customs docket it stated 7" Single Nicky Newarkers - Woman, I was a bit shocked when I saw it.

Jax Transit Authority 7" - $5,199.00 Us - Sold On Ebay
I'd buy it. "Head Games" is a big boogie tune, but for me its the slow flip that i'm after. The B-side "No Way" is an earler/different version of "Ain't No Way", which was the A-Side of their next single release, the other side being "Can't Let Go".

Jax Transit Authority 7" - $5,199.00 Us - Sold On Ebay
That is a seriously rare record and doesn't turn up. I thought I put in "a serious" bid a couple of years ago, but that was blown out the water.

Modern Scene Echoes Scans
Les Fisher's early spots were fantastic, he always dug out some surprises. It's a shame those late 80's London nights, seem not to get the recognition they really derserved as some great music was played. I also picked up some really nice bits there. I also have a fond memories of Ivor head bobbing up and down, when playing Jessie Henderson.

Ty Karim + George Griffin
Yes, unless your a 7" obsessive, get the 12" its the better version and cheaper.
-
Eddie Ray - Glad I Found You
Also the one with no address and horns has Glad I Found You is the Official A-Side, whereas on the version without and the address, Glad I Found You is the B-side.

Bill Brantley / George Perkins 45S
Baby Its You side is a great tune and a rare record as its only on the issue. Saying that its price doesn't reflect this. Hope you get one soon.

So Out Of Tune You Can't Get Past It
Always thought Fascinating Girl sounded like a pissed uncle singing karaoke at a wedding, but this is far worse than that. Anthony, your sharing of this gem is greatly appreciated...

Todays Cheapies, Tomorrows Big Money Records
Both sides were massive London Rare Groove plays in the mid 80s
-
Frank Hudson / Old Man Me (goodie Train)
I believe the red and the white Hutson ones are the same recording. As said before the different takes are the Hutson/Hutton variations.

Best Soul Lp Ever From The 60Ts
These might not be in people's top 10, but I do keep returning to Jimmy Hughes' two Fame and Volt LPs

Best Soul Lp Ever From The 60Ts
no need for me to get cocktails for the wife as they're delivered to our hands by waiters. I've got the UK Bell LP like the idea of the book, maybe someone with some in depth knowledge and substantial stock could do this and maybe even add some prices to the listings. What a great idea that would be.....

Best Soul Lp Ever From The 60Ts
And his "A Man Needs A Woman"LP, get the UK bell release as it's got 6 more tracks compared to the US Goldwax release
