Invincibles On Ciray - Value?
Yes Chalky, I have the Fros Ray (flesh coloured label) 45. Flip is a nice ballad though, but obviously not as good as 'Can't No One Man'! Still quoted as the same price as Invincibles in Manship's, maybe because the Soul Gents is the first???

There's also the 'Soul Gents' on Fros Ray....about the same price. This is the same group I believe.

Where Do I Start
There's so much to be covered, obviously it all depends if he has specific 45's in mind. Otherwise the only source that's documented regarding most of the Northern Soul 45s is to get a copy of John Manships 'Bootleg' guide (about £8)...or (more expensive) J.M's new Northern Soul Price Guide 2009 edition that incorporates the bootleg guide also. If he has specific 45's in mind, then post them up on here where he will get good help sorting out the originals from the bootlegs.

Soul City Label On Ebay
Worth a punt of the more recent releases is Johnny Sayles 'I Can't Get Enough Of Your Love' for the previously unreleased gem 'Tell Me Where I Stand' on the flip!

Stardust Label - Is It Legit Or A Bootleg Label
Stardust released Kenny Carter's previously unreleased 'What's That On Your Finger'. I bought one as it's the only way to get it on vinyl and was told they are legit???? I'm really surprised Kent didn't release it on a 45 as they have the rights to the RCA stuff anyway???

Cavaliers, I Really Love You, Rca

Carl Holmes - Pressing Fault?
I have an almost MINT copy of Carl Holmes 'Dance No.3' on Black Jack. Got it from a Soul Bowl pack many years ago. Problem is it jumps about 3rd of the way through the track!!! I just can't understand why? there is absolutely NO mark or anything on the vinyl and as I said, it's almost MINT! ('almost' 'cos I've had it so long!). I've cleaned and cleaned it but it won't stop! It's just one little jump....bastard! Is this a pressing fault? Are they all like this?

Best O'jays Single
I'm going with the 'I'll Never Forget You' crowd. Best album for me is their 1960's second album 'Soul Sounds' on Minit.
