this record is all about the sweet side

Big Money Tunes That Do Nothing For You
they are the same group as the fads on mercury, so if you know soul music it's likely you've heard more from them.

Records Bag Stolen In Madrid Last Friday
I'm glad you got your records back, that is a horrible experience.

Lucifer On Invictus - Info Wanted
don't they still have the canadian content requirements? I think they did in the 80s, I would visit relatives there and the "muchmusic" channel (their equivalent of MTV) had to play some percentage of canadian music.

60S Small Hole 45S - What's The Deal
aren't all copies of that record small holed? People started doing that in the 70s for some records (not sure why). I was more asking about how regular big-holed 45s sometimes are found with the smaller hole.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday- There Must Be Something -Dig #296
I think both US funk and sweet soul collectors have increased the value. Was a $10-$20 record a couple years ago.

Various Sales
Sorry if I was messing up your sales, I was trying to point out that that record is even rarer in the condition you have it. Thanks.

Acrobatics
I have no idea about the source of the northern soul acrobatics, but there were a million JB and Jackie Wilson imitators who did similar dancing. Many "review" type acts had a James Brown guy in the review who would open the show or dance during the show.

Jimmy Hart # Tea House In China-Town On Mercury
I had a $400 snipe on that ravins, not my sound but i figured i could get a good trade off of it... of course it didn't work.

Recommended Record Of The Day, From Your Collection 2011
The commands were GIs stationed in texas. By the time this last record came out, it was pretty much a different group. Only Dan Henderson was an original member. Most of the rest of the members were previously of the group the Justifiers on Kim.

my copy is trashed. You know this is the same group as the falcons on big wheel? it's their last record I think.

that firestones is very difficult to find clean (not that it's easy to find at all). The only clean one I've ever seen is the one that was on ebay recently.

Patti Labelle - (Artist Of The Week)
I think she had the biggest hit with it. At least it's the only version I really remember and I listened to the radio all the time.
-
Patti Labelle - (Artist Of The Week)
I think the artist should be changed to "the bluebells" so that nobody can suggest pink cadillac or voulez vous coucher avec moi my favorite bluebelles songs are: Trusting in you / Suffer I need your love I'm still waiting Loving rules Academy awards

Please On London
Does anyone know if please on london records is the same Filipino group as Please on German Telefunken? The london record was recorded at Chipping Norton and it does sound like they have weird accents that is more evidence that is the same group. Also, can anyone tell me the flip -- I've never seen a stock copy. Thanks in advance.

Would Anyone Grade This Record Ex+ ? (Bought On Soul Source)
what is the difference between M- and NM? recently I saw a NM-, which was funny because it didn't exist in the seller's grade listing in his "about me" page.

Would Anyone Grade This Record Ex+ ? (Bought On Soul Source)
It's pretty easy for an unplayed record to not be mint

The Counts - It Takes A Bunch A Lovin
that makes it more likely to be the carolinas group (e.g. counts on yes, swinging counts, etc.)

More Blatant Bootlegs ?
the main bootlegs that still blow me away on ebay is those belgian bootlegs that have labels that look real and that the seller starts at $50 each, as if they were real. who makes these and how do they make them? are they one-offs or are a bunch pressed?

Lucifer On Invictus - Info Wanted
I remember when I collected soul LPs finding this more than once, forgetting what it sounded like but noticing the invictus, playing the LP and being like "what is this rock garbage!" and putting it back. Now I may or may not have a different opinion.

The Counts - It Takes A Bunch A Lovin
I saw that and was wondering about it too. Based on the bidding I assume it was something that was "known" by certain people. I was wondering if it was the carolinas counts or some totally different group (I could probably figure it out but didn't put in the time at least).
