  1. Mm, pray tell. Give us an example of what you think is a good soul record. Nothing wrong with this particular Millie record or loads of her other stuff.
  2. The link dont work.
  3. Just bought one of these - won't appeal to everyone, but I love it. The raw, innocent vocals got me swooning.
  4. Evening All Anyone want to sell me one of these? Fanks Peter
  5. I think it's a fantastic photograph. Peter Is that recent? You don't look any older than you did on the 80's photograph!
  6. Sounds like the Vibrations. Never heard it before.
  7. Well worth more than occasional play in my book. Mighty fine record.
  8. I think she was very young when she made the record - maybe only 14? Pretty girl too.
  9. Evening All. I remember this record really well. For me, at the time, it was a refreshing change from all that nasty 100 mile per hour stomping shit - it had a sweet, mid tempo feel. It's not a soul record, but - who gave a flying fcuk back then. And anyway I used to love dancing to it. Pierre
  10. Went to a few of the Hinckley niters - including the Eddie Holman one. Always remember them as being predominantly oldies and I was way into the dark side by then. Having said that I definitely remember Pat Brady playing a few newies one night - Garfield Fleming being one. That of course could be total bollox - as, after all, it was a long time ago! Peter
  11. Wow! Love them. Peter
  12. And remain unknown it will. Yer links don't work!
  13. I concur Gene. A place and a time record - massive at that time. Peter
  14. No problem Larry. It would be a shame to bin them - lots of history on them there tapes.
  15. One in sales Mark. Or there was one. peter
  16. Hi mate. Ask Pete Smith. He has the where with all to maybe do something with them - convert to cd etc. I for one would probably pay for some cd's. He might not be interested but he's worth a pm. Peter
  17. Well done you guys. Good job. Still plenty of time for others to chuck a few quid in. Looking forward to seeing some pictures. Peter
  18. The Newly track is shite! I'd rather listen to Michael Crawford's Phantom of the Opera. Mm, where is that CD. Pedro.
  19. Not to my knowledge but I know fcuk all!
  20. Can be no denying some of the shit that was played though.
  21. Tis a bit poppy Ian, but lovely all the same. It has a great uplifting feel. Pedro.
  22. The lyrics to this are beautiful. Hopefully everyone has experienced that feeling when they look at someone special - and also, when they look at you in return. Jackie or Aretha - we could debate until the cows come home. Sublime.
  23. No idea what this is worth but there are two on discogs. https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/2677248?ev=rb Peter
