  1. Answered then Phil - artist unknown. Any clue on the Mighty Lovers as to whether or not its the same deal - unknown or cover up waiting to be uncovered.
  2. I'm with Byrney on this one. Awesome but definitely not as good as Mighty Lovers. Somebody put me right on this. Is it actually a cover up or simply unknown artist? A bit anal I know but unknown artist might suggest it will never be truly uncovered.
  3. Thanks guys. Top notch sound and the flip is tasty too. Are we saying a Curtis Mecca spin then? Think like Dave I first heard it on Red Rose via RS
  4. You know the format by now. Who, when, where? Ta
  5. Tempos - Countdown Montclairs - Hung up Earl Jackson - Soul self satisfaction Pretty good intros to these lugs.

Know that this has been referred to many times in the rarest of the rare/fewest known copies type threads but..... If there are just a handful of "known" copies do we know who has them? Just curious, like.
  19. Nothing to be missed. Grown men acting like big kids. I should know because I was one of them
  20. It's pants. But is it possible that the DJ who played it at Prestatyn actually likes it? From a DJ's perspective that's all that matters initially isn't it? If there was no dancefloor action at that point then he/she can reconsider whether or not it's persevering with.
  21. R & B Indies shows just the Bean Brothers track plus Highland Park Community Choir - "Oh God thank you/Oh God thank you (inst)"
  22. Me too Matt, Prophets all day long, plus Combinations a very close second.
  23. 17. Phil - L.A of Soul
  24. For me the 'Caught up' albums remain the greatest concept albums of all time. I will never forget the first time I heard "I still love you (you still love me" - the ending is just amazing and I still get goose bumps listening to it.
