  7. Thanks for the replys. Always knew it was a common issue. Never seen a demo before. Just made me suspicious. Youd think there would be a few about.

  13. I heard Dave Evison play SNATM in the Casino main room during his oldies spot he used to do. 4 oclockish? There were quite a few on the floor too. But I agree youd never hear any of the main jocks play this in their spots. No way.
  14. Theres someone else selling a load . the sellers name is sweep113. Thousands.
  15. Youve got to realise we were all young then and when you were fuelled up this was one of the sounds that got you running to the dance floor. Well it did me anyway. As you get older you realise it as not got much soul content. But phew what a tune at 3am in the morning.

  19. I thought it a good idea to call yerself something. I used to think people that called theirselves their own name didnt want to play. I must have been mistaken. My full name as always been on my profile from day one. I,m not gonna change mine. I quite like it.
  20. Surely no one liked Blance Carter...........Halos are for angels? It got played loads back in the day, but nobody I knew liked it. Though people did dance to it.
  21. I first heard Aint Nothing You Can Do....Joe Matthews early on in my formative years on the scene. Dont know where exactly. Mecca rings a bell 74ish. Became more aware of it again much later at Wigan when RS was pushing it. 75/76ish? It became very quickly my fave tune. I wouldnt say I ran to the floor to dance but I did hurry when it was aired. I was at Wigan one night and there was some guys set up selling records at the bottom of the upstairs cloakroom stairs. I started browsing thru there boxes not paying much attention really. Then there it was. Joe Matthews on red Koolkat There were a few copies. I purchased. I just thought it had been booted. I think I paid £1.00 for it. Wouldnt have been much more cos I wasnt a big collector. Only years later did I find out that it never got booted on red only on white DJ. I lost that disc. I dont where. I think an ex girlfriend had it........... or maybe she still has it. Shes well off the scene now and I dont think she knows what shes got. BUGGER!!!
