Overplayed but brilliant! I agree, first time i heard it, i just had to have it and luckily for me i bought it for a tenner before it took off. I bet the seller that sold this must be a happy bunny but i bet the buyer must be even happier.

Hello all. posted this a few months ago with no luck so gonna try again. Looking for original copies in decent condition (with centre's intact) of the following 2 records. THE REGGAE BOYS - "BA BA" (Gas) KEN PARKER - "I CAN'T HIDE" (Treasure Isle) OR can somebody point me in the right direction to decent web sites that sell these types of records?? Thanks for looking.

I've actually got some bargains on here (well, in my opinion anyway!) so it's not all bad but i certainly see your point Pete. As for buyers paying the 'over the odds' asking price, surely it's the old case of "a record is worth what you're willing to pay for it". Maybe there should be a feedback system for sellers and their version of record grading. On that note, i would like to recommend Mark Bicknell. When he says something is "Super Clean", it "IS" Super Clean. I would recommend this guy to anyone!! Top bloke to deal with.

Let's hope so!! I think the fact that they are getting into the music and discovering records by themselves and not having the tunes forced on them is a major plus. My parents taste in music was Jim Reeves, Perry Como etc. and certainly did not appeal to me but i did take an interest in my older brother's taste in music (he was a mod and into bands like The Who, The Jam, Small Faces etc. which naturally progressed to Soul music) which led me to all this insanity. So maybe good taste begins at home, good post by the way.

This is true as i have used this option so although it's good for the seller, the buyer has to pay all the fees.

Fell victim to the site crash myself last night. Was just getting ready to pounce on the keyboard and i couldn't access the site so i missed out on a chance of bidding on a record. Ridiculous really when you consider the huge 'upgrade' on the site recently. I thought John claimed that this wouldn't happen again.
