Let’s not forget 10-11 with Chic. The Softiques - The Cliffhangers - The Devotions - The Prophets. and more. Got to be the second best club around. And we got our memberships (but that’s for another thread)

There are parking restrictions at the top of the road tonight. We have been told we have authority to park, we have car passes for your window screens available and we can move the cones if needed. See you all later

Entry and parking The manager of the Boat Club has organised that we can use the Union club next door as well as normal parking for our event. You may have read that the road is closed due to the Take That Concert on the following nights. The road will close at Midnight on Friday to incoming cars but not to cars leaving the event. I'm not sure if Taxis will be allowed in after Midnight but its only the top of the small road to the barriers - So business as usual.

Thanks Kev, that answers a long standing query of mine. I spoke to Sammy at New Jersey and Prestatyn and both times he wouldn’t talk about the demo saying “ I ain’t going up that avenue” knowing how bad things were with GB (especially the gun story) I now get it.

Selling privately is best for your top sounds but may leave you with a lot of unwanted items. Selling to a dealer is easy as they will (normally) take the whole collection in one easy transaction. personally I have done both on several occasion's and must admit that doing business with a dealer makes life so easy. My last deal was last year with a collection of about 1000 records including quality top tunes down to basic Motown. Anglo American Soul dealt with it professionally and quickly with zero issues. Always think twice before you sell.

I had Fredrick Hymes lll and Royal Esquires from a guy of EBay who went by the name Brooklyn Born. Got both for about $100. I did think the Royal Esquires was a bit flexi but Fredrick Hymes seemed great.
