  1. Here's one more- John Wesley- "Love Is Such A Funny Thing" - Melic
  2. Here's a few more for the list- Connie Clark- "My Sugar Baby" - there is an unreleased (at the time) version by Frank Wilson Tamala Lewis- "You Won't Say Nothin' " Magnificents- "My Heart Is Calling You" - unreleased ( at the time)) version by the Four Tops Doni Burdick- "Bari Track"- shows up as Jobete even though it's an instrumental version of "I Miss My Baby" by Rose Battiste which is not a Jobete song.
  3. Modern Records seemed to have access to a few non-Motown Jobetes- Mary Love- "You Turned My Bitter Into Sweet" Mary Love- "Hey Stoney Face" Ikettes- "i'm So Thankful"
  4. I'll vote for "Cool Off" .
  5. I think it made its first appearance on the "A Cellarful of Motown" Volume One from 2002.
  6. According to the 2nd edition of Tim Brown's book, the boot has a canary yellow label ( the original is more of a gold color) and the original has an "H" stamped in the dead wax.
  7. Crash #425- Magic Sam- "Out Of Bad Luck" / ????
  8. I'm going to go off on a tangent here but... Does anyone know which version of "I Watched You Slowly..." came out first? The Lou Courtney has writer credits for Lou Pegues ll, the Guyton version credits Randazzo- Pegues- Lambert. Does anyone know why there's a change in credits?
  9. Thanks for posting this Lorraine!
  10. I've got one too- it's a styrene press- probably West Coast ?
  11. Hi Lorraine, Jerry Ragavoy and Norman Mead(e) are the same person. Not sure why one label credits Ragavoy and the other one Mead. Also I agree with you on the Baby Washington version.
  12. I'll cast my vote for Baby Washington.
  13. You might want to finish it off with a mouthwash rinse for that minty fresh clean and maybe use some floss to remove the gunk around the center hole and the outer edge.
  14. Let us know what kind of toothbrush you use.
  15. Not sure if this was a million seller but "He's All I Got" is the flip to "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart" which hit the Top 10 Pop charts in the U.S.
  16. He is honest though- it shows the published price as 12.99
  17. Maybe they throw in a copy of "My World Is On Fire" by Jimmy Mack with the book .
  18. Figured it out !
  19. How about "You Got The Love I Need " by the Undisputed Truth - flip side of "Smiling Faces". ps- Does anyone know why this line is running through everything I type ??
  20. An $8000 discount- this one won't last long !!
  21. That one shows up quite a bit- that was way more than I thought it should have went for. Thanks for the link !
  22. Which King design?-Didn't see that one .
  23. Saw that today- the last one( from the same seller) went for about $130 USD. That is a tough one to find.
  24. If you've got it on Musicor #1275, the flip side is "Sonata". It was reissued on Musicor #1443 with "Be My Love" as the B side.
  25. You might want to read post #47 which is from the person who started the thread- "Motown copies is what I'm looking for- other companies attempts to emulate/ cash in on Motown".
