dthedrug Posted July 28, 2014 Share Posted July 28, 2014 HI All you must have seen on TV them adverts for steam cleaners, I got a hand held one for £20, it worked well on edge type warps, place edge of record on safety glass, (a shelf out of your fridge is ideal) from about 10" work the steamer from glass to the edge of the record, blast for 5 seconds then press a flat piece of glass over the warp, you could add a weight, please practice on any old record several times before trying to repair a rare record, DAVE K 2 Link to comment Social source share More sharing options...

Souljer6 Posted August 2, 2014 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Put record between 2 thin, inflexible surfaces (safety glass would do), into a trouser press and then use clamps to get a really tight fit. switch on, leave 12 hours, intermittingly switching on.
