Mike,

One thing I can tell you is, JJ Barnes and I both stood talking to each other up to our ankles in Elephant dung. The venue failed to clear the previous week's circus droppings!

I eventually brought out JJ almost holding my nose. I then had to rush to Wigan to be on stage by 4am. No wonder Russ loke at me in disbelief!

You would have loved it Stevie. Concrete dancefloor, yellow "rain" nicotine stained condensation, terrible sound system. mmmmm, lovely. Another strange night. :)

Intersting Kev saying that he had to rush JJ Barnes off to Wigan to get on stage. I can only assume he didn't mean the Casino as the the Queens Hall event was in April 73 ( I still havethe original posters I nicked that night) and the Casino didn't open until Sept 73. I guess it is old age blurring the memories!, or was it Russ's "Everysound Disco"? Kev was going to.

Sorry mate, but you are wrong definately April 74. I was there and I didn't go to my first allnighter until Sept 73(Va Vas). The acts were Hearts Of Soul????? Mel & Tim, The Exciters, Major Lance and JJ Barnes. It was also the same night as the Eurovision Song Contest, but I can't for the life of me figure out why I remember that little titbit of information.!

Paul
