That's about its going rate I think, 50-75. I love it tho I can see why people say it's disco shite, vocals are ok but the backing is quite cheesy in parts.

It's been a good while since I played this, either 45 or album, but I seem to remember that the album was a different version (better?) a bit stronger (cant think of a better word to describe it) maybe it's because the album was stereo? I know it sounded much better over a big venue system, and I think it was more than just a few secs longer, but could be wrong

What I do remember tho' was deciding that I should keep the album because I liked it more ( and typically the 45 stayed also - please tell me I'm not the only saddo who does this ?)

I prefer the album version - such a camp cover... The dancing bit in the middle is longer, cant remember if theres an extra verse or not or is that just the 12" version of Heaven in the Afternoon that I keep confusing it with.

Thorght it was the intro my self but its been that long since ive played it am not 100% sure

There are loads of disco tunes have crossed over to the Northern scene, although I have never liked the Benny Troy tune, there are a lot that I and many others do like, where do I start? Ace Spectrum - Don't send nobody else, The Brothers- Are you ready for this, Esther Philips - What a difference a day makes, Sister Sledge - Love don't go through............., All Disco tunes, and one or two of 'em made it to anthem status.

As we all know it was Blackpool Mecca that crossed the disco tunes over into the Northern Scene, good thing, or bad, there are some monstrous disco tunes.

I agree with Ivor, there are far more candidates out there who not only look horrible but sound incredibly horrible live, at Prestatyn. The gent has the purest sound live! You seem like a jealous fool that your women were enjoying Benny Troy! Only a jealous fool would want to assasinate someone with a fantastic live vocal! And, one of the nicest guys who was kind and generous to everyone at Prestatyn! Wake up fool! You and your wife look like "t**t's if I ever saw one! Bee Gee's on crack? I think you're on crack!
