You might want to consider Donald "Crazy Legs" Austin - You Want It, You Got It, from the '73 Eastbound album EB 9005.....big tune at Cleethorpes/St. Ives during the mid 70's....thumbsup.gif

I think it was big everywhere at that time, covered up as the New York Strings at one time.

OOya! I'm afraid it's not made the cut, it must have sounded OK at Cleethorpes full of pills but like me it hasn't worn well!

Magictones - Happy Days, ol man Santucci spin, and a rather spiffing one too!

I'm quite a fan of Melvin Sparks' "Git Ya Some" but have to admit it won't be to everyone's taste.

will have a good scan when i get back home on friday -love the logo some real interesting ohio players ad dennise la selle tracks ive got -oh and the impeccable magigtones -ill make it up to you -which gets in my all time top 20,also got some melvin sparks no eastbound was not aware of the westbound offering!!!

Thanks chaps, particularly the Cobblers Posse but they're all that little bit too Jazz Funk for this comp, perhaps we can do a follow up in that vein.

I'll check it out Kev, thanks. The one of his Dave Thorley used to play is a bit too electronic for this CD.
