Rob Wigley Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 You've scored again Soul Girl brought back some great memories, even caught myself picking my nose on the "keep on keeping on " video !!! Donni Burdick was still my favorite from the show, mainly because all the others have had some form of regonition for their music, Donni had never sung before more than 100 people even his wife of 30 odd years had never seen him sing ! If you put "I have faith in you" on here watch his reaction at the end of it, the noise from the 3,000 plus crowd was unbeliveable on the stage, just like being at a football match, he was caught like a rabbit in the headlights of a car ! I'm certainly all for these old acts finally getting some green in their pockets and getting the appreciation they surely deserve!!! They are really sounding good too! but can we get a real drummer back there? that band really does not swing!!! I mean seriously! "if this is love" just lurches on awkwardly at about 80bpm-yikes!
