an album track if I recall...good live band

Couple of decent tracks on this album!!

Strange but i actually heard this version before the original so i have a soft spot for it and actually quite like it.

this often turns heads when played out, i've had a few people come ask about it.

Following on from the example set them by the Beatles & Stones, just about every UK beat group built their live acts around covers of soul tracks.

This was included on the group's 1st LP in 68. As "Bend Me, Shape Me" exploded onto the chart Decca / Deram wanted an album instantly, so the group shot into the studio and performed what was in effect their current live stage act. Songs on the LP include Our Love Is (In The Pocket), Something You've Got, Expressway (To Your Heart), Let The Good Times Roll / Feel So Good, I Don't Want To Discuss It And Amen.

Seem to recall that the Move's biggie on live shows was "Open The Door To Your Heart"

Birmingham group, this is on Fontana I think, remember the A side being one of the worst records I've ever heard ("Ebanezer")

Andy Fairweather Low looked pretty well at the Cardiff's Globe club a few weeks ago when he turned out to see his old mate Georgie Fame playing in his home city.

wasnt Amen Corners version of Amen on a 'b' side of one of there singles...re-named 'Nema' ?

Nema was a b side....an out there psych track with loads of hammond a bit like I am An Angel off the lp.There were a few bands from that era who were dabbling in soul.The best were Harlem Jonns Reshuffle from Oldham..covering That Driving Beat,Everything Under The Sun,Looking For A Fox...im sure they did Open The Door on their lp as well
