I have several of the Serious Soul CD's put out by JM, several years ago, Latest one I have is Vol 26, anyone know if there are any more?

I got all but #22, #26 is the last one I got.

What's the sound quality like? Are they recorded from original vinyl?

I got a set of Serious Soul CDs (unofficial) 16 in total, back in the 90s.

Just had a shock reading this thread, that they are a completely differant set than the ones listed here.

The ones I got where almost all crossover tracks.

So are they just a sort of semi professional kind of CDR? I agree the track listing looks great for the example above but quite a few of the tracks have appeared elsewhere.

Joe check out post number 3 and your post number 5, not the same.

The sample you out up, are the same as the ones I got.

The sample you put up vol three crossover, the other vol three male northern soul!

the photo / scan shows on the spine its volume 7 , just its the 3rd one in the series that contains crossover

So you all hate pressings and bootlegs but bootleg cd's are fine.  I see.

....PM me if there's a particular volume you're after, I might have a spare
