Cunnie
Suppose i'd better post mine up then & before anybody gets on my back i know the 1st 4 tracks were not strictly Clifton tunes but they were just things i fancied listening to while setting up. Also know Nate Evans was a Cleethorpes tune but it got spins at clifton & was a request. You Promised Me - Freddie Waters Put Your Loving On Me - Willie Fisher Gonna Be There - Terry Genghis Joy - Band AKA Diamond Ring - Billy Nichols This Time With Feeling - Nate Evans Ronnie Dyson - Lady In Red Wind Me Up - Oscar Perry Let Me Do It - Oscar Perry One On One - Philip Mitchell Don't Break That Rule - Marvell Love Lucky Man - Tolbert Love Call - Ramsey & Co Summertime - High Frequency You've Got Me Hung Up - King Tutt Breaking Training - Larry Brown Heartaches & Pain - The Pages You Can Win - Bileo Over The Top - Roy Dawson Just Like The Weather - Richie Parker You Know How To Love Me - Phillis Hyman That should have been it as we had already ran for an extra 1/2 an hour but a couple of lads asked for a couple of 60s tracks & then we had to squeeze in our regular Modernism ender / signature tune so it just kept going with these. Because Of My Heart - Frankie Beverly I Am Nothing - Al Williams My Conversation - The Uniques C'mon Manno, only you left so smarten thee sen up Mart... Edited July 30, 2006 by CUNNIE Link to comment

Shane Shame you missed it Shane. Was a great night (but i would say that wouldn't i). I know what you mean about the 60s stuff but it's just how it worked out on the night but Steve dropped a few 60s tracks as you will see when he gets round to posting up his playlist. Didn't you order some tickets that you were going to pay for on the door? The invoice is in the post Link to comment

Cunnie
Hi Wiganer. If your'e a fan of Marvell Love you should try & track down a copy of Yesterday's Love - J. D. Jones on the same label (New World) Marvell Love was New World 104 & JD Jones was New World 103. Very similar sounding records that must have been recorded at the same session & i wouldn't be suprised if they were the same person. If your'e interested Wiganer i'll PM you them both sometime later. Let me know if you want them. Mart... Link to comment
