From what I remember there are two presses? One original and one a rather belated 2nd press?

Benji think the only original may be the acetate. Ian Levine got him to issue the records, supposedly 100 pressed,

 

apparently 3 acetate copies that were originally played on the scene.

Mark, you're right. I probably thought of another record. Have edited my post.

Can confirm only 3 acetates originally in the 70s - I have one of em. The rest all pressed up in the 90s - we had a massive "hoolie" about it all at the time denials, allegations etc......let's not go there again purleez. Damont pressing plant here in the UK though was used and I remember Mark Houghton, a collector as honest as the day is long, finding a copy in Record & Tape Exchange shortly afterwards for £1.......All kicked into the long grass now.

Ian Levine states their were 200 pressed

still a masterpiece of  a tune got 1 of the 200....well done ian!

I thought there was 99 pressed to avoid the tax and then the masters were destroyed

It says Danny Leake on the acetate….

think mr levine was out of town when Danny Leake got to work on this super tune 8-)

Ye  my acetate says Danny Leake  but then crossed out and says David Rhodes

I remember first hearing this on a tape (from John Manship?) around the late 70's or very early 80's and it was not listed as David Rhodes, it was a hand written track list and not easy to make out the artist at that time, so I thought it was Denny Leake for some years until I got to know more about it 

just sold mine for £40.....chi city obviously.....had a couple of them...was it that limited
