Soul Weekends, Weeks, Fortnights

Just browsing events over the last couple of years on this site has thrown up loads of these type of events. Any of you readers go to them all, or is it just 'as and when'.

Considering the frequency in the UK and overseas, it must be a full time occupation to get em all in, on top of a need for a few bob to spare.

Is this the style for big Northern/Rare soul events in the future?

Lets hope it is not the future of are scene, The Northern Scene has always been the Allnighter,It is are life blood.

There is a Weekender close to every week,who as got the moneyand the time.

I hope we dont end up like sad old Rock&Rollers,at Butlins.

RATHER SLEEP IN MY OWN BED.............had enough of...... Stalag yu know where,plus the fact that they tend to be either one room of modern and t'other played out oldies,IMO that is,although returnees to the scene love it just like I once did.
