    The single was $6.99  and only available from America (Daptone) with  £16  postage was only sensible to add other copies to make postage more acceptable. So that is probably why people have spare

Why are there so few around? To create a buzz? Great track, I've been looking for one as well and missed out on here

Must be really difficult for artists and record companies to know how many 45s to get pressed up with each new release, shame they then miss out occasionally when something as good as this takes off and re-sellers end up profiting, rather than the artists and originators of the music. That's the way it's always been I know, probably moreso on the soul collecting side. I thought Daptone had got some more in, as at first the record was quickly showing as sold out when first released a few weeks back at $6 each, then showed in stock again early last week, now sold out again. I can't wait for the LP if one is being finalised. Absolutely brilliant new release this and instant dance floor reaction.

Man from Soul has the 12" for sale 20 quid buy that.

Please note the link doesn't seem to connect to anything, and Man from Soul don't appear to have any copies on 12" - in fact can't find any mention of it on 12"

it will go for a lot more as there are no copies around and quite a few chasing it on a 7 think there was are 2 on discogs at £100.00 each. think they only pressed up 200 copies

Bought 3 myself (all accounted for) for $20.97 plus $23.50 post from Daptone.

Wish I'd bought more now! Think they had 10 left when I got mine.

i`m not backwards at coming forwards as a rule..mine came from daptone $6.99.......... and guess what..i only got the one plus $16 post..wish i added 10 copies

Am i on my own by being underwhelmed by this track?

I quite like the song, backing vocals sound good, but to me its let down by a very weak vocal.

Does that also go for a record you may have bought for a tenner back in the day and is now worth a small fortune .

Of course not Martin.......I'm talking new releases like this.

Juno have a 1 per customer policy on limited items.....quite sad that there's a need to do that!  :-(

I'm fine Mark and Juno have the right idea, I just think when the postage is three times the price of the record it makes sense to buy a couple at least. I usually pass on the spare to someone at cost price or there abouts anyway.

When buying from someone in America nowadays i will always look at what else they have and add a couple but they are usually for me.

I do completely understand that mate......I think most of us would be inclined to do that as it makes sense.

Suppose based on my take on it, it's just a shame in this instance that the only way of achieving the sensible option is to buy multiple copies of a new, limited release.

Hello from NYC everybody! 

popped in to give a Benjamin update. Light Of My Life is getting a repress that will arrive along with a NEW 45 in the spring. A full length LP will follow in the summer and i suspect i'll be seeing you all in the flesh very soon after that. 

i did make an LP in 2015 called Arriving. it's more in the modern soul / boogie lane.
