Wasn't the Clements disc a supposed £400 quider at one time? Seem to remember an old Record Collector issue going on about it in a UK rarities issue. Of course all in the years BE (Before Ebay)

Re Soul Joe Clements

Swaped my copy over 15 years ago to Mick Smith (He reconed it was the last thing he needed to complete his British collection) got back 7th' Avenue Aviators and Four Perfections if my memory serves me right. Looks like a very good deal today, but in those days it was only a fair deal.

Chad Whiffen had a VG+ copy of this while back, without a centre for fifty quid and I missed it.

Theres and old story about keith Minshull going round his house in KNUTSFORD! and coming away with 3 copies, many moons ago

I sold a ex+ copy last year for £300

and the same again about 2 years before that (that one went to My Dyson)

Mint would have thought £400 approx

One went on ebay about 2 years ago for about £400. Just afterwards I sold mine after it didn't reach reserve, and I sold it off ebay at £250 but it was onlt about VGC.

IMHO Carl Douglas is a far better record than Soul Joe.
