Please help! Can anyone identify this 80’s Rare Groove from the lyrics….

Thank you, thank you, for giving me your love. You’re more than I could have (hoped?!) and I thank God above.

Thank you, thank you, who else could love me more. There’s no one closer to me…..

(Not sure of these next lyrics)

I wanna thank you for breathing life into me again and for giving me a reason to live again.
Through all my madness and all my frustration, I am so grateful for the constellation. Where would I be without inspiration?

I was really into my rare groove stuff mid 80s - early 90s.

But I don't recognise that at all? Was it male vocal/mid tempo/era of said record? Was it soul/ jazzy/ funk? Rare groove covered quite alot of genres/ title guess?

I do have a small clip of the song, which was passed to me by a friend, hopefully I can figure out how to share it!

It’s a female vocalist, soul music

Closest I can think of Alicia Myers - I Want To Thank You

Hi Daved, unfortunately it isn’t that song, but thank you for your input 😃
