Relatively common thing to see on ABC and any ABC subsidiaries, gotta say tho I can't remember seeing the gold paint on any white demo, always and maybe solely applied to stock copies on these labels.
Apologies if done before, but why do so many records on black ABC, USA, have gold paint dabbed on them? I assume it was some kind of method to denote old stock and cut out sales tax? But where, by who, I've come across loads over the years.ย
