I didn't know it then and only bought it because John said Sammy was the lead singer of The Del Larks.

When it started getting popular I sold it to a prominent dj and dealer for £25, nice profit eh! Unfortunately it then started to sell for silly money! The up's and downs of record collecting🤔

I can't honestly say i've ever been keen on the record, dosn't appeal to me but, it's different strokes..

I got Lucille Mathis for a £1 from Mick Smiths at a record fair years ago . Bought blind had read it was big in London , not a bad purchase , £488 not sure about that !

I guess it’s you move me ?

A good record but that’s a crazy price and sums up why collecting now is not the fun it used to be.

It was really common and an easy pick up. I think a search on here may reveal me selling a copy predicting it may go up in value….

I’ve only seen white label copies so assume they are all demos ?

Definitely a bargain price for Sammy C .. never seen a promo before '

The other Oliver joy on big deal stays under the radar for such a great ballad suitable to a little shuffle on the dance floor. Great record.

Webs another great record that was easy to pick up cheap but not the case anymore.
