He finished at Wigan around 1976 and KM would not have gone down well at St Ives, where Ann Marie, "A Gift Of Love" was a big sound for John.

Seriously though, he my have owned it later, as it as his type of record, and when he made a comeback early eighties, he hd some big big records.

The sheer mixture of the records in Richard's set was highly creditable , and , as far as I can recall , no one slagged it off following him finishing it ......

As I have stated before , it is interesting that the choice of some of the titles in / for his last spot reflected his feelings at the time ......

Have to disagree, he was playing way too much modern by then and if you listen to some of the stuff on the early 81 tapes, they really are awful, 12" versions a lot of them as well. But no wonder the place was only a quarter full most weeks having to suffer music like that.

Would have locked it ages ago Mark but you know where i come from with stuff like this mate.

Was thinking of starting a cover up quiz type thing but Manno's thrown a spanner in't works with the link he posted up.
