I mentioned this somewhere here before, but that's Terry Thompson, cousin of Marshall Thompson, singing lead on that track. On all other Marlynns tracks is Sheryl Henry singing lead, she's the person who sings "we're on the right track" for the South Shore Commission (so it's not "male group harmony" as some people state). She has a wide range of stage and musical credits and I'm pretty sure she had a great deal to do with music for the Lion King films and maybe the stage show too.
