it should have matrix stamp & delta number in dead wax

if none of those then its a boot

manships bootleg book says it has to be styrene with stick on label...if its vinyl with moulded label its a boot....

the original should be styrene with a stick on label, bootleg i think is vynal with a moulded over label.

i think you will find it has been booted. i've had this copy for about 20/25 years. no matrix stamp. scratched in p924br

the boot is a copy of the west coast white demo? i.e. all multi-coloured issues or east coast demos are genuine?

It is called, 'I won't cry' and is on some mis-pressed East Coast stock copies...and also on a UK album released in the 70s, wihch concentrates on their Parkway recordings.

As with previous comments, the typeface on that bootleg in the pic from the OP gives it away without even having to look at the vinyl/styrene.

Such a classic slab of clip-clop N.Soul that I personally never tire of hearing. Here's an original East Coast (Audio Matrix stamped) WD for reference:

It came out twice on Parkway both considered original. First 924 "Malibu" with "Here She Comes" on the flip then 933 "Twelth Of Never" with "Here She Comes" on the flip.

Argee with others that the copy pictured is a 70's boot, I remember when they were done. Original should not cost you much, so its not to bad!

My Original West Coast demo P933 - Made of styrene and a Monarch stamp with delta 54132 - which makes it october 64 I think.

No, it was released twice in 1964 -SEPTEMBER as an A side and OCTOBER as the B side on copys of "Twelfth of never" for some reason? -

924) Here She Comes / Malibu - (this release got to number 92 in the RnB charts)

933) The Twelfth Of Never / Here She Comes; this is the release with miss press of "I wont cry Anymore" as the b side (did not chart)

It was booted but on the other Parkway demo labe not the 2 shields design (unless I'm wrong :-)

check for stamp on run-out, it's very, very, erry faint, if you can just about see it, it's

a goodie.
