Its a 2007 release , being played in the North West at present ( and perhaps all over too )

Its a German release and it aint Frank Popp!

I will say IMOP its more suited in the Northan Rooms than that bloody Duffy record

I first heard it at Keithley , thing Graham Slater plays it, someone said its played at Brighousee too!!

Il leave it for someone else to say what it is as i dont wanna piss on anyones chips

Tried to get a few more copies a couple of weeks ago - looks like they're sold out now - not got a copy myself, then again, it wouldn't be on my playlist

I had no idea what it was, but heard that they sang "I Can't Give You Up" in the soundclip on the eBay auction so went ahead and googled:

"I Can't Give You Up" soul funk

And the very FIRST search result turned up what this tune actually is (gotta love Google!).

It's apparently "I Can't Give You Up" by Smoove featuring John Turrell.

Released in late 2007.

I think its a wonderful tune I love the fact that someone has produced something today that gets my ears turning into radar mode wondering what is this ! I love the vocals . and the beat just gets ya ! I had to write it down as soon as I heard it.

And I would like one too so if anyone would like to sell me one for 10.00 pounds I will hold them in high regard forever for not being greedy like some others are. It's not an expensive record ... it's a just a good one in my opinion. On a great label chicken Tikka or something ?

I think not! ... tho surprised it's getting plays on the Northern scene I must admit...... A great record for the mod clubs tho IMO... (I played it @ the Mousetrap allnighter back in December! )
