Hi Daryl

It's a great tune isn't it? Not sure if there's any difference between LP & 45?

The LP is a fave of mine - bought as a new release from Kev Edwards in one of his 'You'll gas yourself when you hear this' moments at Spin Inn in Manchester!!!

I also like 'Time machine' from the LP, in fact there's a few other great tracks on the LP too

Hi Daryl

Hope you can make it - will be good to see you

I do think 'Time machine' has got some mileage in it after all these years, although 'Wonder Woman' is another killer track on the LP.

btw Defo worth tracking the LP down if others don't have it BUT be careful and make sure you buy the right one cos his second LP on ABC isn't that good (imho)

Just to confirm this is NOT an all-dayer!

I've been asked a few times about this over the last few weeks, so I thought I'd just clear it up!

Times are 9pm-2am (with a 2am bar)...........and maybe a bit more music squeezed in after 2am

Jayne.x. :P

Hiya Jayne

After toying with a three tier pricing system for the first two (£10 OTD, £8 with a ticket OR £6 per room)we have decided to offer one price of just £8 for both rooms. Those on the front line had problems explaining the policy and then we had to stamp hands etc and it all got confusing, so we opted for one price fits all...........or 'Access All Areas'

We also decided not to sell upfront tickets too, so it's pay on the door.

Thanks for the kind words...much appreciated

The Orwell has been around for over 8 years now and we are proud of the way we have kept the flag of 70s soul / crossover and as we call it little label soul flying we have had many guests over the years, and seeing that list's have been the theme of our event talk thread Below are just a few of the guests who have played at The Orwell :-

Cheers

Steve

yey! excellent...we're up & running then.. thumbsup.gif

To be honest it confused me too and £10 for 9pm thru 2am was a tad too much for a poor lass from Bury so we've not been for a while.. :D

I think you're gonna be busy later, we're all coming over to out drink the Welsh!.. :(
