Guest
Hope this aint the last one here I love the place, my fave venue by far. Got there later than planned due to my navigator from York not knowing the difference between the A1 & the A19 & ending up in the middle of flippin nowhere, avoiding rabbits. Anyway, the music was top drawer last night, all the deejays nailed it on the head without a doubt & the venue I've said before I love. Attendance was down, I'd guess at about 50, with that sort of attendance & the new brewery taking over it's looking highly unlikely that Steve & Liana will be doing anymore, which I am personally sad at as I love the place. Was in top class company, had an entertaining drive home via Darlington, hope all is well in the Griffiths household & Nev, Steve said he wants to know more about Joes bar on a Monday night Harry (Simon) nice to know that you prefer your dog to my company woof, woof. Peter Richer
Well, musically I thought it was a fantastic night, with special mention to Don, Gaz, Col and of course Arthur. Kirsty, I'm with you in hoping this will not be the last night - the venue and people are spot on, and, more than just continue, it deserves to get bigger and stronger. Well done Steve and Liana for all your efforts. Anyway, it's about time we had a playlist or two (or three, or four?!) just to let everyone know the sort of sounds they can expect to hear at the best venues up here in the north east (and to reinforce that point, don't forget Whitley Bay next Saturday folks). OK - my set, just after Arthur's, from 1 to 2 (with a couple of extra tunes sneaked in - thanks for the leeway Steve!): Precisions - I Wanna Tell My Baby - D-Town TSU Toronadoes - A Thousand Wonders - Ovide Blue Soul - Gettin' The Corners - Westwood Pat Brown - The Good Got To Suffer For The Bad - Seven B Dianne Lewis - I Play For Keeps - Unissued Ty Karim - Lighten Up Baby - Car-A-Mel Al Williams - I Am Nothing - Palmer Gentlemen Four - You Can't Keep A Good Man Down - Wand Honey Bees - Never In A Million Years - Garrison Carpets - I Just Can't Win - ViJ Leroy Barbour - I Ain't Going Nowhere - Frontiersman Kings Of Soul - Is Your Love For Me - Down To Earth Shirelles - Groovy Guy - Unissued Melvin Davis - Find A Quiet Place - Wheel City Cashmeres - Showstopper - Hem Ruby - Feminine Ingenuity - Gold Token Cavaliers - Do What I Want - Shrine Jimmy Armstrong - I Won't Believe It Till I See It - Jet Set Leroy Parker - Another Start - C/U Willie Tee - Sweet Soul Music - C/U Sandy Wynns - I'll Give That To You - Simco Mamie Galore - No Right To Cry - Sack Bell Boys - More Of You - C/U Brand New Faces - Brand New Faces - Lujuna Gwen Owens - Just Say You're Wanted - Velgo Counts - Peaches Baby - Shrine Delilah Moore - It Takes Love - Middle Earth J D Bryant - I Won't Be Coming Back - Shrine Cheers, Peter Link to comment

Peter Richer
Hi Steve, it was a pleasure to meet you, and I hope we'll do so again at another Piercebridge in the new year. Very glad you liked the tunes. Incidentally, I think the record I played which we were trying to remember to chat about on Saturday was the Melvin Davis track - is that the one you were thinking of? It suddenly came to me as I was putting the playlist together! Peter Link to comment
