Sorry to jump in late, but mirroring the 100 club the year before last has anyone contacted any of the high profile names that played the TW, I'm thinking John Mayall, Spencer Davis. It helped the 100 club, unfortunately the TW is no longer a live music venue, any future interest should look at that.

Rosette "Circa" copy is west coast and styrene. Detroit is vinyl and Bell Sound stamped.

There was 2 rooms running, the basement with Butch, Tim, Guy etc playing current stuff, and the "Wheel" room playing er "Wheel" tunes!

The song is "Baby, Since You Went Away" also done by Doug Banks on Argo, don't know this version though.

Quite agree, wouldn't have called the Norfolk Village 2-step, definitely more of a crossover place.

I seem to recall "Am I The Same Girl" Barbara Acklin/Young Holt getting hammered as well....

Not that I had anything to do with that scene, but "Everybody Loves..." is the one for me at least.

I remember it being popular with the 2-step/rare groove scene back in the early 90's in London, I wasn't too impressed with it myself, not my cup of tea at all.

I've never seen a demo either...
