  1. Interesting that Pic & Bill recorded a version of "I Love You Baby" as well. But I guess the BRENT issue of that Moovers 45 sold quite well.
  2. That "copyright control" logo with a "#" and "b" on each side of a "Treble/G-clef" can be found on many 45's pressed in Holland. Can you locate a three-digit number in the run-out grooves? If you can find the number "670" machine stamped then it definitely is a Holland pressed 45. If not, which numbers can be found?
  3. Some more yellow labelled promos on Smash:
  4. I guess Daryl Hall's originally unreleased version of "Girl, Don't Make Me Wait" would qualify.
  5. I was talking about records produced in the 1960's. The scan you posted is the 1979 reissue.
  6. No, I think you're making it more difficult/complicated than what it is. Loads and loads of 45's that definitely were made for primarily UK consumption had NCB and/or BIEM on the labels. It appears on LPs as well. The NCB/BIEM was on the label so that the record could be sold in those countries as well if need be. Some examples below. All UK pressings of "La Bamba" has for example got NCB/BIEM on the label.
  7. Both the promo and the issue has got "NCB" on it as well which is the Scandinavian copyright agency. This can be found on thousands of UK pressed 45's from the 60's. I assume so that those 45's could rightfully be sold in those territories as well. For example a lot of danish "releases" from the 60's has got a picture sleeve printed in Denmark, but a UK pressed 45 inside the sleeve.

Lots and lots. I don't know for certain, but most likely hundreds. Some labels: Kimley, Crest, Tempe, Cal-Gold, Baronet, Invicta, Gambit, Encore, Gold-Arrow, Indigo, Hank, Petal, Amazon, Milestone etc. RobbK on here will probably know a lot more about this.
  9. "BABY WALK RIGHT IN" a.k.a. "OPEN THE DOOR TO YOUR HEART" credited to both Donnie Elbert and Darrell Eubanks over at BMI: https://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&page=1&keyid=74426&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID
  10. We touched upon this in an earlier thread about Motown tunes that didn't get a release in the US. I said that if we were going to include "promo only" releases then we might as well include the Frank Wilson 45. You said that Frank Wilson reached stock/issue status. The two Frank Wilson 45's that (so far, at least) have been known to exist are black/white labelled and have got "Promotional. Not For Sale." printed on the labels. There might very well be three stock/issue copies in existence, but they have never come onto the market as far as I know.

All copies are pressed on vinyl, not styrene. Those of you experiencing hiss/crackle, have you tried to clean the record?
  12. I'm in total shock. How terribly, terribly sad. Rest in peace, Bob.

  14. OK. I'm sorry, I just did som research on this. Seems like Apple has gotten rid of the line-in port on their newest machines which is quite remarkable. In the past you could use the headphone socket on Mac's as a "line-in" by altering the settings in: >system preferences >sound >input tab >"use audio port for:" >select sound input from the drop down menu But that doesn't seem to be an option anymore. But for those with PC's, the cables above should do.
  15. Are there any modern PC's or Mac's out there these days that hasn't got a 3,5mm input and a soundcard? All you need in order to hook your amplifier via line-out/tape-out to your computer is pictured below (usually costs from £2 for a 1 metre cable and then goes up): If you decide to go via the headphone socket on your amplifier instead you should use this:
  16. Hello! I've listed a bunch of records on eBay. There are label/sleeve scans and soundclips to everything. Check them out at: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking! Take care. /Sebastian
  17. It's now only 5-6 hours to go on these auctions: https://www.ebay.com/sch/pushkings/m.html Thanks for looking!
  18. I totally understand that, but I would still be interested.
  19. I'd love a copy of that if anyone has got it for sale. Please, PM me if so.
  20. "Stop Her On Sight" was released with a picture sleeve in Sweden as well. Both the norwegian and swedish picture sleeves had the SWEDEN pressed 45 inside. The mix on this 45 is different from all other 45 releases of this track as far as I know. It's as if they used the stereo mix to master the single, but only ended up using one of the channels! SWEDEN picture sleeve:
  21. Original picture sleeved HOLLAND release:
  22. As Robb suggested above: both are legit. "Right, Oon" is on vinyl. "Right On" is on styrene. Both variations usually turn up in VG-/VG-ish condition so obviously a much loved record upon its release.
  23. I didn't think we were being that picky in this thread. The same goes for "Do I Love You" by Frank Wilson then. It's also promo only in the US.
  24. This did get a US 7" release: https://www.45cat.com/record/4228608627
