  1. Just having a browse on ebay and came across this 45, quite nice modern tune but somehow I don't think it ever got any air play in the UK, not with title like this...lol, I think the singer means dancing rather than the meaning it has over here.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DYNAMIC-UPSETTERS-I-Want-A-Man-To-Shag-With-Me-CPI-carolina-modern-soul-45-nice-/221496928448?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item33923ee8c0

  6. I sooooo wanted to do that, slightly off topic, my dad listed a table and chairs on ebay, I spent a week messaging him with stupid questions, is the table suitable for eating on?, how many legs does it have?, will you deliver to Tibet, how many people can fit on a chair......well I thought it was funny....he didn't

  10. Me and my son made a day of it in Manchester , although we did spend nearly 2 hours queuing up outside Piccadilly records for Gil Scott heron - nothing new, oasis 12" for my son, and an ep by a mod group called the stripes ,over to beatin rhythm then and got Gregory porter- revisited , Wanted to get the Charles bradly 12" - no chance, I think daptone cocked up a bit with distribution also wanted the Paul weller release, that was on eBay an hour before it was officially released, so something dodgy going on with that one, think he may have commented about it on his website. Anyway we went for 8 records and got 4 so not bad I suppose . Phil
