  6. Train to Nottm, then change for Crewe, then had a bust up on the platform, then Crewe to Manchester, finally we saw civilisation.. Train to Wigan. Return journey was 9 hours because of line maintenance. We got the bus from manc to Crewe I recall. St Ives was a goodie too. . . . Hitch in rain, truck driver gave me a lift to Huntingdon station, then for some strange reason, I chatted to a couple of guys there,,, 20 minutes later, a mate of thiers turned up with a hot wired car. Lift to the Ivo ! Result!

  12. you're all forgetting one act on that Skeg stage ............. GC Cameron ! so good, i went to watch him sing again at the later show. jaw dropping vocals, was i impressed? oh yes. poor old Martha, never a fan to be honest, but as others have said, she should be out to graze. Brenda Holloway, loved her, Candi Staton, loved her, Billy paul, loved him, Percy Sledge, loved him., Sheila Ferguson still has it. Dorothy Moore, tears all round, simply wonderful, Denise Williams , a true songbird indeed. (and strangely sexy i thought) as for the original post, no problems at Skeg, enjoyable weekend
  13. General consensus seems to be the seller should pay fees. (Which I personally agree with). The problem here seems to be that , if you snooze, you loose. Meaning, if you don't pay, you miss getting that item you'd really like? Why do we keep using PayPal? We all have bank accounts don't we? A bank transfer is free for both parties, it is almost instant too. So I suggest, we refuse to pay seller fees, then hopefully this will stop* *we live in hope
