Poll: Battle of the Sides - Lil Major Williams
A difficult choice, but the first track has a little more oomph. I have to be honest though, the voice is a bit too light for my taste. Ed

USA eBAY This sounds good
If indeed its "that rare"...then thats always influenced prices. I remember those for millionaires only cds about 15 years ago coming and thinking a few tracks were dire for the minimum £1000 valuation. The litmus test will be how many more will turn up! Ed

USA eBAY This sounds good
How lucky were we when a dozen or more new tunes as good as this were turning every month. Now its like the holy grail has been found! Still happy they turn up though via old studio tapes, test presses, and long lost lps etc. Ed

USA eBAY This sounds good
Its not like you can bootleg it anyway. No official label artist or title identified .....yet. Simply amazing how these things turn up 50 years on. It could be a fifty grand test press if it truly is unique. Three grand might have been a bargain! Ed

Has Coronavirus sounded the death bells for NS live scen
Quote If I could have one wish granted for when things get back to whatever normal we see it would be for a soul club in striking distance with the emphasis on "soul", not being able to dance as I once did a convivial night or even an afternoon not necessarily at the weekend spent in the company of like minded people in an upstairs room somewhere playing music from every genre Deep to Ska ,RnB, 60's Soul, Funk etc etc , can't see it happening unless it's Wednesday Afternoon round at mine on the decking weather permitting, bring your own drinks I hope you get to attend a Tenerife Soul in the sun event....eventually. its exactly that, pure chill out, anything goes music policy, anybody can ask to dj. The cheap beer and relentless sunshine also helps.. Ed

Has Coronavirus sounded the death bells for NS live scen
Plenty of experts on YouTube giving predictions. Common to all is that until a vaccine is developed that works on the vast majority of those who need it most...the vulnerable need to avoid it at all costs. So its unlikely that mass gatherings of any kind are happening soon. Anybody who relied on the live scene for their living will be really under the cosh as we enter year 2. Ed

how much
I'm not sure how many price crashes there have been since lets say 1977 but I do remember the one in the early 80s when top 500 rarities halved in price. A mate of mine let his collection go for peanuts really. Everybody who sold up would have kicked themselves a few years later. Move forward 35 years or so and its hard to see any let up in price rises never mind stabilisation. Ed

how much
I guess I will have to settle for my reissue and signed copy by the writer and the singer... Top sound though if you could justify paying it. Worth a lot more after that box of originals went up in smoke... Ed

I think it was all recorded. The organisers of Detroit a go go may have it on a dvd etc. Not sure of contact details of the individuals, as it was all booked on line. There was also the writer of Time will pass you by and Tobi Legend on stage together, meeting for the first time ever.... Good luck. Ed
