Been in the motorhome since Friday lunchtime. Been to the Old Stone Trough in Kellbrook for 2 nights and frequented a few pubs in Skipton including watching the match Saturday lunchtime. Sunday stayed in Settle and today landed in Ingleton. Been on the Ingelton Waterfall trail. Just under 5 miles of steep climbs but well worth the effort.

Remember the days of travelling in the car heading for a summer destination and by the end of the journey; the windscreen was covered in orange splats off the unfortunate insects hitting it. No longer see anything like that these days. My family go mad when I let flies and wasps out of the house but trying to do my little bit. Have lots of caterpillars on my roses though.

Some of us can and will dance in heels when I wish to and sometimes in flats Some of us women can actually dance regardless of the heel height we are wearing. Depends what mood I'm in. A couple at Brid actually thought the same as you and pre judged me on my heels before I danced. Actually came down onto the floor and apologised even though I had no clue beforehand. Each to their own in my eyes. 👠😎

Just seen the news that Prestatyn has finally closed its doors. Know a few went never to return however for me it was the best weekender going. Lots of happy memories of lack of sleep, partying hard and loads of laughs. Each year had the chalet lurgy mainly caused by them.l Personally think when the Britannia group took over; it started its decline however thank you for the fabulous memories. X

Travelled up to Carlisle for a nighter on a Friday with Julie from Halifax on a coach against the advice of my mum as it was snowing. Duly got to blizzard standards as we headed further North. Finally arrived at the venue at 5am but managed to get in via a knock on a fire door. Managed to cadge a lift back to Manchester in a mini bus off some friends but after a short stop at the services the driver accused me of ripping the seat in front of me and kicked us all off. The tear which I hadn't noticed until he pointed it out was old and frayed but his excuse to ditch us. Ended up borrowing money off the gang till Wigan the night after and finally got the train back.
