  1. Can do Pheasants on Throne. PM me specs and your email address, ok?
  2. Should have "Just ask me" on flip. Do you mean it's the same song, but different versions?
  3. Looking forward to getting my copy tomorrow. I just realized Lorraine's "lost without you" is the same song as Little Anthony and Teddy Randazzo. One of my alltime favourites. Great!
  4. You should have gone to Amsterdam or Berlin instead. It came out in Netherlands and Germany same time as US. For whatever reason UK issue was 3 years later. Probably when there was enough demand from the underground Soul scene. * NL issue was 1976, same as UK. US/Germany 1973
  5. I think it was covered by a retro-soul band a few years ago. Anyone confirm?
  6. Sorry, I don't know who he is. There's a german Ebay seller going by the name of freestylemaniac-records. Forgot his real name, but he's a 100% reliable bloke. 1,000's of pos feedback. But he mainly deals in 70s funk/soul and 80s boogie 12"/albums. Somehow hard to believe he's the Discogs bloke. Freestylemaniac-records is located in Stuttgart. Where's the Discogs one from?

  13. Is this the same copy that went unsold on Ebay?
  14. Quite a number of people posted outright racists views in "Current affairs" over the years. Coming from that I guess there is racism on the scene, although it's not outspoken.
  15. I remember from one of John Powney's sales lists 20 years ago a record he credited as "vocal to Doni Burdick's Whatcha Gonna Do". Can't remember the artist but label was Cameo-Parkway or just Parkway. Does that ring any bells?
  16. Delfonic's version of Little Anthony's masterpiece is also available on a UK MFP 'best of' album called "let it be me"
  17. How about Holly St James? the build up fantastic. way too short.
  18. Three Degrees did a released version. Roulette LP and german Bellaphon 45.
  19. I just checked. Mediafire already copyrighted one of my files, saying it might be available as legal download on Amazon. Even though my file is only a <1 min clip. I guess they cross search using the filenames as search terms. Annoying but hey, they have to make sure nobody's sharing illegal stuff Maybe re-naming the file will do, in case of the Stafford podcasts maybe something like St. Afford?
  20. It's a link to a subfolder I created. Leads to a Mediafire page where all mp3 clips in said folder are listed. You click on one and choose download or stream. If stream a new page opens with an online player.
  21. I uploaded a few clips to Mediafire and sent out the link to a few mates. Seems like it's ok.
  22. Thanks. Will give that a try.
