Without A Doubt-Major Lance
.Love the major too. Many many great sides, I particularly liked his volt output but my favourite was the contempo remake of" Dark and lonely"which is odd for me because 9 times out of 10 I prefer the original. I must add that his album that came out on soul was in my opinion very poor. Id be interested if anyone knows how this came out on Soul? as no one on motown seems to have been involved.

ALT CUTS OF DARRELL BANKS LOOK-A-LIKE UK DEMO OUR LOVE+OPEN THE DOOR
it really is depressing. Almost every week bootlegs are discussed on here, I'm beginning think most people are in favour .,boasting about purchasing and even framing them. if no one bought them no one would press them Sadly there seems to be no solution!

The male greats... all gone?
Just thought of another male great Oscar Toney Jr! Still going strong at 76. His work with Papa Don Schroeder in the 60s was fantastic, but for me the sides he cut for contempo with Gerry Shury were even better. very underrated and I'm pretty sure will be re-evaluated in the near future.

Ian Levine produced tracks; Your Fave
its the backing I cant seem to get my head around. some of the vocals are still great. I think with proper instrumentation they could have been superb.

Joe Harris lead singer of the Undisputed Truth. Saw him live a few years ago and he still had a great voice.
