Yes it was amazing really that two years earlier everything seemed to be great ,and a year or so after this playlist Richard had his fantastic playlists along with Gary Rushbrooke etc- Trade Martin-She Put The Hurt On Me
Here’s a playlist from New Soultime originally ,shows where Trade Martin fitted in amongst a very mixed bag of great and not so great sounds in 1978- Trade Martin-She Put The Hurt On Me
I think that’s Dave McCadden or Siz writing in Soul Time / New Soul Time .Trade Martin was definitely played around 77/78 at Wigan and bootlegged ,probably too soon .Same time frame as Gary Haines ,Burning Bush etc .Remember The Shirelles cut it as well ,though unissued at the time until Ace Records unreleased it with the different title of “ You Could Be My Remedy “- Label Mistakes the factory didn't spot

Think Dave Withers must have bought Richard Searlings copy ,as he used to play it in the early days of Stafford ,before the Guy / Keb era .- Rarest Stock Copy
I believe this is pretty rare ,a stock copy of Lou Edwards .I had a copy in the 70’s before selling to Richard Searling .- Guitar Ray find?
The flip of Bobby Kline has loads of legs in it still ,and arguably the better side .- Ric-Tic Records on CD + unreleased tracks?

A few years ago a friend of mine visited Chicago on a record buying trip .There was a guy in one of the shops who had compiled some fave down tempo records onto CD , this was in the early years of the CD-R .My friend let me tape them ,below is one such example .I’ll look out the others if there is any interest .- Kenny Shepherd how to spot a fake
